A Contact Air (a regional partner of Germany’s biggest airline, Lufthansa) flight made an emergency landing at Stuttgart airport yesterday (Monday 14th). The crew had tried several times to fully deploy the undercarriage but in the end they had to land with the port side undercarriage only partly deployed.

There was a shower of sparks but the aircraft came to a full stop without further incident and the passengers and crew vacated the aircraft using the emergency slides. There were two minor injuries.
